    HeikenAshi

When I load my 400 Tick chart, ES 06-10, 4 days data HeikenAshi chart I get only 4 bars for the entire day 4/14. The 3 previous days have all the correct bars. This only happens when I use the HA chart. Minute charts load all the data.

Are you getting proper tick bars if in candlestick mode? Reason I ask is that I can't get tick bars in any chart type mode to load properly. Sporadic bars across the charts???

Have the both of you already tried to reload the historical underlying tick data by right clicking in the chart > Reload Historical Data?

      Thanks

Sure have. Also, tried adjusting the session manager and "don't merge data". Here are two charts, nt 6.5 and nt 7.

Thomas, please try setting Equidistant chart spacing to true in your NT7 chart in the Chart Properties.

Yes, that was the solution. Thanks

Have tried both of your suggestions. Still have only 3 candles from session end time yesterday at 4:15 EST 4/14 until now at 9:13 AM 4/15. When I change to a 400T chart, with candlestick I have every bar.
Only when I chose Heiken Ashi, 400T do I have the problem.

Connected to Zen-Fire, using CME US Index Futures ETH..
Seems to aggregate all the ticks from the previous close until whatever time I open or refresh the chart, then starts recording the ticks correctly.

                      Hi Bertrand,

                      Any progress?

blaporte, we checked into however learned this is expected behavior for the Heikin Ashi bars type according to its definitions by the creators.

Pretty much puts this into the 'not too useful' category. Is this the final answer on how the HA charts work, or are the 'creators' going to fix it so it works the way other charting packages and other NT charts work?

Having 3 candles from the close to whatever time I open my chart, or reset during the day is useless. Moving averages are incorrect, as are any other indicator on the chart.

Sure hope you reconsider and have this fixed.

                            Hi Bertrand,

Since I loaded 7.15 the HA charts are loading just like every other chart. Don't know what you guys did, but thanks. They look just like the charts using the ModHeikenAshi indicator, and also just like my TOS charts.
