Thanks for responding. Still a limitation, yes apparently, but are there any plans to fix it during the NT7 beta period?

I appreciate all the other hard work you guys are accomplishing during the rollout of the amazing NT7 platform, but this issue is a serious limitation for any NT user with a GAIN live (cash) account, since any good trader will want to sim test a new strategy before running it in the cash account. As I explained in post #11 above, this is a strategy persistence issue for GAIN users since it doesn't take long for the malfunctioning Cash Value field to get the account down to zero and automatically terminate the strategy due to "insufficient funds."

I'm not asking you guys to tackle this problem for all forex brokers, just for GAIN Capital, your special forex partner. And I'm not asking you to fix all of the functionality in the Accounts panel, just the grossly malfunctining Cash Value field, so it doesn't automatically terminate the strategy during a normal forward test. How difficult can that be?

The issue is on our feedback list. Right now our priorities are to stabilize the platform and iron out bugs that would crash NT. After this is done we will then be able to take a look at issues like this one on our list. Thank you for your patience.

Great! Thanks for that news, Josh. The NT7 rollout is a hugely complex undertaking and I fully understand that there are higher priorities at present. I'm just very glad to hear that this issue is on the list of things you will tackle eventually when priorities permit. NT7 has already added immensely to my research and trading functionality and I want to thank you all for this amazing platform.
