Indicator not plot correctly
I plot a bollinger band over the RSI which is working well on NT7 beta 7. Today I upgraded to beta 8. I uninstalled the beta 7 from control panel and deleted the Ninjatrade folder before I installed the beta 8. After that, the bollinger band disappears. I check the indicators by right click the mouse to choose indicators. And the bollinger band is still in the indicatos list but just not plot on the RSI chart.Tags: None

both RSI and bollinger band are set on panel 2 with scale justification of Right. Where can I see the Control Center logs?Originally posted by NinjaTrader_Josh View Postfskidd,
What panel is the indicator on and on which scale justification? Any errors in the Control Center logs?
Actually I didn't change anything. Uninstalled the beta 7, deleted the ninjatrader folder and then reinstalled beta 8. So the setting should remain the same as it works well in beta 7.

fskidd,
Your scale justifications is likely the issue. Bollinger bands are generally not within the same price range as an RSI indicator. As such trying to show both in the same panel on the same scale would not work. Please have one on the right scale and another on a different scale and then you should be able to see both indicators.
Control Center logs is in the Log tab of the Control Center. (On the very right)Josh P.NinjaTrader Customer Service

I try different scales but still not working. YES, there is an error message in the log --- Error on calling 'OnBarUpdate' method for indicator 'Bollinger' on bar 0: Object reference not set to an instance of object.Originally posted by NinjaTrader_Josh View Postfskidd,

Thanks. I also spot another problem of data on the chart. I find out that everyday when I turn on the computer and login NT7. There will be data lost on the chart for about 8 hour. And I have to right click the mouse and reload all historical data and then the data is back again. Here is the screenshot when I summit this reply.Originally posted by NinjaTrader_Josh View Postfskidd,
I see now. You are doing indicator on indicator. Misunderstanding earlier. There are known issues with indicator on indicator hosting in B8 that we are currently investigating. Thank you.

Yes, that's correct. And after a few hours from 5am EST, when you switch to other currency pairs, you will see data is missing on the chart.Originally posted by NinjaTrader_Josh View PostSo to clarify, you open NT7 at 6pm EST. Then you leave it running while connected to eSignal till 5am. At that time, when you come back to view it at 5am it has missing data? Is that what you are saying?
