that of course is unrelated to this issue

I found it happened today intermittently.....when I would click my mouse wheel in a chart running mycs, VOL and VOLMA

I tried many times to reproduce....and could not ...will advise steps next time

please comment on what is wrong with the session template I attached....i.e. why does it not work on Sec charts starting from 930 AM...??

Sorry I'm confused. Is there now an issue on VOL and VOLMA or no?

yes there is a problem with the minidatabox....I expect nothing to do with which indicators are running....just happened to have mycs, VOL and VOLMA all running when I selected chart by cllicking in it with mouse scroll wheel

will continue to try to reproduce under same conditions: i.e. same 3 indicators, same bad session template, in both min and sec charts

On session template: what exactly is the issue there?

            Dierk

I have spent/wasted several days on this issue assuming it was my code and just now discovered that it was my code but ONLY with respect to the specific Session Template attached above. It is only mycs, with that session template, on a Second chart that results in the problem.

Now that I know that, I have thrown out the session template and all computers for all users are running my code fine using the Default 24/7 on Second charts.

I assume at this point that NT does something different with a Second chart if the session start time is 930 instead of 12AM....and whatever that difference, my code was reacting to it only on second charts.

At this point, I have no more time to waste on this issue. I would however like to know, for future reference, if NT does indeed do something different with second charts relative to session start times.

We are not aware of issues on seconds charts in conjunction with particular session definitions.

                One more thought....

this issue comes from the change from NT6.5 wherein session start time was derived from the chart setting. My code picked up the open accordingly.

With NT7, session start time comes from a separate template and is independent of the chart.

I had created the custom session template in NT7, starting at 930AM, while thinking of my 6.5 code. My NT7 code will not use the same method.

What this did reveal however is that a Second chart session is not the same starting at 930 as it is at 1200AM
