    Ninja 7 Startup Problems

    Hi

    The ninja 7 does not open and produces and error message that
    workspace cannot open and program needs to close, I have attempted
    to fwd logs to you but that seems to lockup the program completely.

    Error Msg reads: unable to restore workspace: Specified index where the row is to be added is not valid.. It must be non-negative and less than or equal to the rows count. Parameter name: Index Actual value was 1.

    Any suggestions ? It will allow me to build new charts

    Did you migrate from 6.5? Please send an email directly to support [at] ninjatrader [dot] com and include the workspace in question as an attachment. In the subject please have Attn Josh and include a link to this thread. Thank you.

    To address the issue please try deleting all your workspaces and then try rebuilding them as NT7 compatible ones.

      Hi Josh

      You are correct, it appear these workspaces were migrated in from 6.5.

      What is the best way to delete a workspace ? as I dont see that option in
      the dropdown window.

      Also I am not getting streaming live data for todays session

        Lynn,

        Close NT, go to Documents\NinjaTrader 7\workspaces and remove the workspaces.

        Check your instrument session templates that you are using. In 6.5 the default chart would be 24/7. In 7, charts use session templates pertaining to their particular instrument.
