What is a wick and tail on NTRenko?

I know that wicks and tails signify the high and low prices achieved on an NTRenko bar. Aside from that, do wicks and tails signify anything else? That is, will they ever appear on a bar for any other reason not related to high and low price achieved on a bar?

You are correct, the wicks generally indicate a high or low price reached. The renko bar type that comes with NinjaTrader does not offer wicks, so you can always reach out to the vendor or coder of the custom bar for more information.
