Hello,

I would like to enquire as to when Ninjatrader will have charts available for the Mini Nikkei 225 on the Osaka Exchange. I am receiving data for that exchange from CQG but have no charts.

Can you please tell me to what data feed provider or broker you connect in NinjaTrader. The Mini Nikkei futures traded on the Osaka exchange is listed as JNM in NinjaTrader.

Hello Jason,

My data provider is AMP/CQG and their symbol for the Mini Nikkei is MJNK. I can create this in the instrument manager and get data into the super dom but no charts. When I go to load a chart using the MJNK symbol I get an error message saying "Error on loading chart data for MJNK 06-16 Ose: Ninjatrader data server does not support this instrument, no data available. When I go to load a chart using the JNM symbol all I get is a blank chart.

Unfortunately this instrument is not supported on our historical data server, so it is as expected that no historical data is loaded. I will forward the suggestion to support the Mini Nikkei futures on the historical data server to development.

Thanks for your reply.
Your feedback is being taken into consideration however at this time there is no plan to add historical data for this instrument.
To get historical data for this instrument you would need to connect to a data provider that supports historical data for this.

Add mini-Nikkei data please!

I would like to add my support for this data ... as I understand it, the mini-Nikkei is now the highest volume instrument available to US traders in the evening times ... It would make sense for NT to support it soon.

It is actively discussed on the FIO thread osaka-nikkei-225-mini-index-futures

Now its available via CQG many are realising its value to both serious traders and those who need a liquid market after work in the US.

Please suggest whomever looks at this ticket NT Brokerage is slipping behind and that would be a shame.

Add me to this list. This just has to be one of the most logical contracts to trade for those living in the Asia-Pacific region. I have already emailed NT Brokerage asking when they would add this to their list. There are alternative trading platforms that allow the mini Nikkei to be traded now so NinjaTrader really need to rise to the occasion
