NT8 - I can load Yahoo Data, i.e.Astro Japan Property Group (AJA.AX), however, when I want to load Google Data, i.e.Sasol (JSE:SOL) the following message appear: Symbols can only contain letters, digits, periods and underscores.

Had you created a Sasol instrument? Or had you switched the charts by typing on the chart?

If this is still occurring, can you please give me details steps so I may try and replicate on my end?

With NT7 I use Instrument Manager. don't know where to find Instrument Manager in NT8. With NT8 i followed the following steps: TOOLS > IMPORT > STOCK SYMBOL LIST > then typed GOOGLE URL: JSE:SOL. With NT7 it loads the Google URL without any arguments. NT8 argue the "double dot" in JSE:SOL.

You can create an instrument similar to how you would in NinjaTrader 7 by going to Tools > Instruments and selecting the lower right 'New' button.

You still won't be able to add the : (colon) to the name, but you should be able to add it in the Symbol map field when creating the instrument.
