New DrawingTool

i constantly find myself wanting a "custom rectangle" so a 4 corner form for that i can chose the corners individually to be able to basicly do all of that. unfortunately most of this isnt possible (at least not in NT7) which forces me then to use 2 triangles which its rather impractical compared to a triangle tool with 1 more corner and often doesnt even look that good either

Use DrawPolygon().

ok thanks. but would be still usefull to have this as an actual drawing tool. but i guess for my ninjascript purpose, this will do.

Why? Except for the rectangle (and by implication, the square), one needs to specify 4 values for any quadrilateral. So how does DrawPolygon() not suffice? You would still have to specify only 4 values.

yeah like i said. for script purposes its perfectly fine, but there is no way to actually find this as a drawingtool on a chart right?

This is not a standard drawing tool with the NinjaTrader platform but NT8 allows you to build custom drawing tools that you could do with the script.

No. Then again, DrawPolygon() is not pure NinjaScript either.
