Would love to be able to right click the chart and set an alert at whatever price my cursor is at. Would also be great if it had a sub menu for cross under or cross above. It would then plot a horizontal line there and beep, email, popup (whatever is in the general settings for alerts) when it crosses and the line disappears.

However, I can confirm that NinjaTrader 8's improved Alerts setting does allow for right-clicking on the chart to set alerts, in addition to cross above/below options. Please see the below link for the Major Enhancements of NinjaTrader 8 that goes over this.
