Global exchange code mapping per vendor.

I notice when adding a symbol to the instrument list I have to map the exchange symbol every time.


If I could simply map the exchange codes once for the data provider I could simply type the instrument symbol, check the appropriate exchange box (which is globally mapped for the vendor) and be done. This would save having to custom map from in the misc tab for every individual instrument.

i.e.

|A (for Amex)
|N (for NYSE)
|Q (for NASDAQ)

etc.

I love your response and will just have to have faith that your 'proprietary feature request management and prioritization system', amounts to more than post it notes stuck to your monitor and scribbles on a napkin!

Here is something else I just thought of along the same lines.

It would also be helpful if the symbol mapping could be done right from the charts without having the predefine the instrument in the instrument manager.

If I know the symbol and exchange code NinjaTrader should recognize that format from the chart window.
