REQ: Duplicate Chart Button

you guys should seriously consider a "duplicate" button for the chart. NinjaTrader is great, but it is not the fastest thing to set up, a duplicate chart button (see OANDA demo if you want to see how that works).. would just clone the entire chart including data series settings to a new window.

if you don't want to waste space on a button, consider putting it in the right click context menu.

But people often want to create similar charts to the original, in fact maybe that's usually what they want to do with a new chart.

Thank you for your post.

While there is no button, you can create a Chart Template which will allow you to save all settings and items add to the chart such as Indicators.

When you setup a chart, right click on the chart and select Templates...-> Save As... -> Give the template a new name.

Load a new chart with the Instrument you want and select the template to load in the bottom right hand side.

I just cannot express, how useful this would be.
It would be the best way, how to quickly open new charts in real using of NT.

With NT8 there will be the ability to duplicate a chart with either a new tab or open a new window.

great. Hopefully the NT8 in the youtube videos is just a beta-design and the windows will be normal windows windows, not skinned ) at least the buttons on the top right - minimize, maximize, close look skinned
