    Hello,

i have simple question. What exactly means "cumulative profit" ? I know thats profit*quantity*point value, but does it mean, that can be profit in minus ? Because, in "Graphs", i see only growing equity without drawdowns, but i have loss trades in my backtest. What does it mean ?

    Hello fLife,

    Thanks for your post.

The Cumulative profit is the summation of profit of your trades.

Below is a link to the help guide on Statistics Definitions. Please see the section 'Understanding Cumulative Profit'.

        Hello fLife,

The cumulative profit will be for all trades not just profitable ones. Profit also includes loss in result.

I.e. you can get a negative cumulative profit.
