I know you have your hands full with the ZenFire issue so this can be address later. BTW absolutely no issues with AMP/CQG but I have not upgraded yet to V18.
Suggestion for NT8:
Please consider including a supported method to loop through the Tick and Minute database.
Maybe something like:
GetTickData( DateTime StartDate, DateTime EndDate, DateTime StartTime, DateTime EndTime)
StartDate = Dec 1, 2013
EndDate = Dec 24, 2013
Start Time = 9:30 am
EndTime = 4:15 pm
The method would return all ticks from Dec 1, 2013 to Dec 24, 2013 that occurred between 9:30am and 4:15pm
By using any of the C# Array methods we can populate said arrays.
BAM! You have just created a Volume Profile.
I would think that you already have the optimized code for accessing the Tick DataBase as it is needed to populate a Tick Chart. This suggestion should not tax your Development Team to much.
And by supporting a Method such as this you can then leave the work to create the Volume Profile Charts to the User Community and Vendors.
Please consider this suggestion.
