contract rollover

why do I have to recreate strategies when a contract rolls over ?
Why cant I just change the instrument ?
As it is now , instead of one click to change the instrument, I have to redo the whole strategy from scratch on every strategy where the contract rolls over.

Thank you for your post.

From the Strategies tab of the NinjaTrader Control Center this is the only method to change the instruments (Disable > Remove > New Strategy).

If the strategy is running on a chart you can simply change the chart to the new expiry or instrument.

when testing 10 or 20 strategies, you run them from strategies tab, not open charts.
