Since NinjaTrader's next version is under development it's still unclear what features will and will not ultimately be included in a production release however we do hope to make more information available soon.

Just trading options is stupid easy. The real, total requirement is a set of robust scanning and analysis (pricing, risk,etc ) tools, with a trading interface.

Trading options is anything but easy. It's a very complex part of trading and I understand Ninja hasn't touched it thus far for many reasons.

I agree NT would be diving into a deep hole taking on building a comprehensive options capability.

Both Sierra Charts and Multicharts offer options charting/trading. Time for NT to close this gap.
