The new range bars in the 6.5 beta are nice, but I would prefer a different kind of range bars that are calculated from open to close, not high to low like now.
The bar would be calculated like this. First tick after the close of the last bar creates the open of the new bar.
First tick that is at least the range size removed from the open creates the close of the bar.
The open of a new bar can be anywhere relative to the previous bar, both inside or outside the range.
