Semi Automated strategy and chart trader

Dear NT,

In the course of developing my strategies, I've found that having a semi automated strategy capability able to be used with chart trader would be useful. This would involve running chart trader against a running strategy (which I believe cannot currently be done). How this could be done in the future, is to replace any and all order entry/exit calls with calls to an alert function. The strategy is then run to generate alerts upon which the trader enters the orders (with chart trader) and manages the trades.

Thanks csmith87, we have running ChartTrader enabled with a strategy on the same chart on our product management feedback list and I've added your request / voice for it in.

So in your thinking, the strategy would generate an alert interface where the trade could discretionarily choose to take a signal generated or pass?
