    Trading Dom Feature

This would be a very worthwhile feature to be able to shade your profit or loss by looking only at the price ladder.

When trading several DOMS at the same time side by side you could get a very quick visual of what is happening.

If there are others who would like to see this feature, please chime in.

    thanks

    Hello,

    Thank you for your suggestion.
I will forward it to our development team and ask them if they can add this to the list of future considerations for the software.

      good idea

This is a good idea. I when the markets are moving very fast and I'm trading with a lot of positions on, it would be nice to have a visual like this.

      Great suggestion

I made a similar post long ago and agree this is a compelling feature that enables the monitoring of positions on the DOM from across the room. Certainly, IB BracketTrader users converting over to NinjaTrader will appreciate this feature. I will say however, having used trading Doms with and without this feature, seeing a lot of green or red on the price ladder can have a negative impact on a trader's pyche and bring a premature end to a trade that might be better off left alone.

Thanks for posting your suggestion ideas.

          Regards,

I would like much better if we can have chart trader in a super Dom format. This would make easier to follow different orders at the same time without any confusion.

              Visual Flexability

              Whitmark,

Thanks for responding, your comment on prematurely ending trades is insightful. The abilitity to turn this feature on or off would give users a choice depending upon their trading style. Nonetheless, I agree with you, there are many software providers that have incorporated this feature and it would be to NT's benefit to incorporate it in growing its customer base. This was the first feature I missed when I migrated from "Buttontrader" (awsome program- only drawback is that it is tied to IB) to NT. Hope NT gives this serious consideration.

I heartily agree -- I would love to see this feature. I was about to start a new thread requesting this.
