Unfortunately, CMC Markets does only offer a web and mobil trading platform. The web platform does only have bad charting capabilities, it does not offer one click trading, or chart trading. It does not offer a scanner window, automated trading, or the ability to write or use customized indicators or strategies.
I already wrote an email to CMC Markets and gave an advice to work together with NinjaTrader or Multicharts to offer a professional trading platform to their customers. Unfortunalely, CMC Markets does currently not offer an API to their broker back end but maybe my feature request and advice fall on fertile ground.
By the way, the mentioned spreads are all better than that offered by GFT, and I want to add that NinjaTrader should support CFDs in future versions of their software, too. CFDs are not much different compared to futures in their handling from the viewpoint of a broker interface. Do not make a dogma of stating only to support futures, forex, and stock equities. GFT offers forex instruments but they are all CFDs, too. Therefore, NinjaTrader already supports (in beta) some CFDs of GFT. Why not supporting other CFDs, too?
Here in Germany many brokers use MetaQuotes MT4 client for providing CFDs to their customers though MT4 has worse charting capabilities, does not offer a scanner, does not offer one click trading, and has many other deficiencies. Why does NinjaTrader leave the CFD market to MetaQuotes, and why is NinjaTrader not keen on providing a better product for CFDs than MetaQuotes MT4? Furthermore MetaQuotes wants to extend their product to futures and equities in the next release of the MT client.
