    Saving all chart types setups

    When we save a template, only the colors setup for the current chart type (candlestick for example) are saved. If we have setup colors for other chart types ("line on close" for example, they are not saved. Hence, when we restart NT, and apply a template, we just load the colors for 1 chart type.

    The only workaround at the moment is to save 1 template per chart type.
    As I change often the chart type, it is not very convenient. I would suggest to be able to have an option to include in the template all the setup for each chart type. And being able to load all of them.

    This would also be convenient as an option when right clicking in data series for "Set default for xxx Period type".

    A template includes all chart settings, including the chart styles and colors.

      I'm glad I stumbled upon this thread because I'm also having trouble with this. Does your suggested fix mean that if I decide to change a chart style, say from Candlesticks with red/green candles, to OHLC with black/black bars, that I will have the option to keep those settings for all time periods - for a given template?

      Currently, when you apply a default for a time period, it is a global default, and not local to a particular template. If that's what you are suggesting, I will be very happy.

        Thanks for the post. This is currently in our feedback list. Unfortunately we do not have available a commitment or time frame available when you would see in the software, or the exact particulars of the implementation.
