    Applying chart text: Inconsistent operation

First, do this: Place some text on a chart. (Be sure to click the OK button on the Text properties window to dismiss it.) Now bring up the Text properties window again, change something, click Apply and then click Cancel. Notice that the changes stick.

Now do this: Start the process of adding new text to a chart so the Text properties window appears. Enter some text and click Apply. Notice that the text is placed on the chart. Now click Cancel. Notice that not only is the Text properties window dismissed, but the text disappears from the chart.

I would suggest that this is inconsistent. Doesn't Apply mean "Make it so"? So, in the second case, it should be possible to click Cancel after clicking Apply without losing the text from the chart.

    Hello MikeInMA,

Thank you for reporting. I experience the same behavior on my end. I will forward your suggestion to keep Apply/Cancel consistent when using Text drawing objects.
