Median Line Pitchfork Suggestions

Median lines, also known as Andrew's Pitchforks, could be improved by allowing the user to deactivate the anchor line and retracement components and adding template support to the tool.

Those who use median lines frequently typically use multiple pitchforks at a time. Templates would greatly increase charting efficiency, allowing different colored or configured lines to quickly be drawn. All charting objects would be improved by this feature as well. It seems odd that it is only implemented on some drawing tools.

The "remove drawing objects..." dialog box could also be improved by providing an easy to organize/click list of all tools currently on a chart for individual deletion.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with the feedback to aid with improving NinjaTrader.

Since the type of functionality you are seeking is not presently supported within NinjaTrader, I have documented this particular feature request and have sent it to our product development team and they have designated ID # 1060 so this request may be tracked.

Another Idea....

Also consider perhaps....have user defined increments for desired length of handle and tines...(similar to other fibonacci tools...like fibo time extensions...).....when these pitchfork lines extend to infinity they can just clutter up the chart...

Note how the trend channel tool is derived from or works in a similar manner as the pitchfork...similar extensions for this tool would be good also....
