Please see the attached screen shot, which shows a chart containing three text boxes. All text boxes use 9 pt. bold Ariel Narrow as the font and a 2-pt. wide box outline. It may be significant that there are no descenders in the text (characters like "g" and "p") in the first two examples. That was intentional.
The first box is two lines of text. I suppose it's okay, since there's a tiny bit of white space below the text. But there's clearly more space above the text than below. More balance would be better.
The second box is a single line of text (with a typo). Notice that all space below the text has been lost.
The third box was created by entering text and then hitting Enter four times, so that in edit mode there are blank lines below the text. Notice how it messes up the bottom border!
