drawing sloping trend lines

Hi

If Ihave ES range, volume and minute charts up
Draw a trend line across 3 lows on one of the above charts and then try to draw that same line on one of the other types of chart I often find it doesnt line up
I check the times and values of the 3 lows and find they concur ie the charts are all getting the correct data
All the swing highs and lows are the same value and time
Is there some kind of technical reason for this and if so which type of chart would developers reccomend as most reliable?
For the purposes of establishing a sloping trend in this way

poeds, if you are trying to draw the same trendline on range, volume, and minute charts, it is expected for there to be some differences because the bars are all different from low to low. If a specific time doesn't exist, NinjaTrader will round to the nearest bar, which could be where the differences creep in. If you have a screenshot showing this behavior, please post it so we can see what you're talking about.

Thanks, its ok I have decided to default to time based as the axis is time. Range and Volume bars are bound to be imperfect
