FX broker with smallest spreads that supports NT

Hi all,
has anyone done some research to see which broker has the smallest spreads, for active fx traders? The ideal solution would be a connection between NinjaTrader and Currenex, EBS or HotspotFX,...

Is this überhaupt possible with NT?

1.) NinjaTrader is supported by 100's of brokers and data providers worldwide for futures, forex and equities but unfortunately we do not support those that you mentioned. Please review our preferred broker list and let me know if you have any questions.


2.) Unfortunately, I do not have any information to provide on spread size. Perhaps other forum users could offer their opinions?

IB pretty much has zero spreads i.e. they do not take a cut in the trade.
They do charge commissions though.

Ditto, cheap, you don't get jerked around, and fills are excellent. Only complaint is they don't have historical tick data so you have to leave your software running at all times.

Yes IB, but there are drawbacks. You have to interface NT into their TWS software, which disconnects once every day, and when your trade ends it leaves the funds in the currency you where trading and you then need to convert it back, so there is commision on the main trade, then commison on the conversion back.

It works out ok for bigger trades, but not so good for smaller trades. If you want to use the Ideal Pro pratform (tightest spreads) then the minimun trade is $25,000.

And yes the lack of historic tick data is a major pain.
