Change indicator visibility WITHOUT redrawing chart

I cannot find a way to hide an indicator on a chart with removing it or changing the color scheme to transparent/empty - both of which cause the entire chart to recalculate from the beginning.

I can understand that some indicator changes require recalculation from the first bar BUT NOT ALL. Many times I want to avoid blanking my chart for the minute or two or more that it takes to recalculate if all I want to do is change a color for example.

At the very least allow one or more indicators to be hidden from view (but not removed) and without forcing a recalculation of the entire chart. What a waste of time and resource!

And since some indicator markers are drawn real-time, redrawing the chart changes them to the historical end of bar position -- which is typically not the same. Redrawing alters the record - so I must take the snapshot of the real-time chart before it is redrawn by NT.
