Volume in the DOM

I think evrybody looking for something like in X_Trader (see the picture) That will be the best idea for DOM and I will be happy to see this and give me solid background to move to ninjatrader 7

Exactly. I'm seriously debating doing a trial on x-trader to get this.

Any News on the volume matrix in the DOM?

Well I see that this goes back a ways....... Hmmm.... Is getting a volume matrix on the DOM still on the list of things to do? Seems basic now that many platforms offer it I love TT but hate the monthly fee.... =( I love NT but it the dom is not sufficient to place a real trade with... Or rather what good is a DOM without...... Seeing the volume that is traded kept track of ON THE DOM..... ok I'll put it this way MR. Developer...... pull up a dome and you'll see lots of things flashing on the DOM... NOW please look at a chart with the GOME ladder on it and when something shows that it has traded look over at the GOME ladder to see how many traded then look back at your dom..... RIGHT if you did that longer that a few you would get a head ache.... exactly...... Ok so is it still on the list? I believe when you came to Denver Trading Group you said that it would be on your todo list that was I think in 2005? or before..? Hmm... Can't remember I'll have to ask Ron Rossway if he still talks to you yall =))

That is not an answer that's blow off...... Ok so I'm not that stupid & I wasn't born yesterday..... If indeed all your programming is done in house YOU JUST BLEW ME OFF..... Again I met with your team and staff in Denver at Denver trading group years ago and you didn't seem that rude to me then so I'll ask again... What time frame does your team have in mind? (because again if this is all done in house usually things have dates etc. of projected completion) what kind of time frame your looking at seriously i'm not trying to be rude I assure when you see people asking for a feature going back more that 5 years ago you have to wonder and then when you folks said in Denver this was something you were going to add I mean what was that like 5 - 7 years ago....

Unfortunately there is no time frame since we do not know if it will be incorporated in NinjaTrader. It is on the list of possible future enhancements, not on the list of enhancements that for sure will be included in NinjaTrader.

Most of the people who are asking for this feature probably trade... you have to understand that it's great to see level I and level II but without confirmation to see who has actually bought or sold something makes.... the DOM.... well almost useless...

Ok no histogram OK... I understand but is it possible

If price is at the BID and and trades 1 then price is still at the BID and trades 2 more and then price is still at the BID and trades 5 more is it possible the have the number updated in the DOM to reflect that? Basically you already have the feature in the DOM but it doesn't keep track of trades while trading at the bid it only keeps track of the last trade at the bid...

Note that IB book trader has a histogram and gives us 10 deep, not your 5 deep. It's really annoying to see NT behind everyone else on this. And now, Multicharts came out with a pretty decent DOM along with their charting FOR FREE, EVEN LIVE.
