    NT7 Hide Indicator

Reading thru the NT7 features, will the user have the ability to hide an indicator with the click of the mouse?

It is a real drag to either change the indicator to "Transparent" or write down on a note pad the indicators settings to re-add later.

Any trading software I have ever used had this feature.

      - You will still have to set the color to transparent
      - NT7 allows you to save indicator parameters as a default setting so removing and re-adding is more efficient

This is geat [saving indicator default] as I was just going to suggest something like that.

This suggestion probably fits in here as well:

How about, for future version, enable the ability to switch positions of indicators?

In other words, if we have...

        EMA
        ModHeikenAshi
        FloorPivots

...it would be cool to move the position of the last indicator up two spots to the first position. At least for me anyway.

          NT7 Features & Development
Drag & Drop of Chart Objects
Chart objects can be selected (stochastics indicator below is selected) and moved to different panels, different panel scales or create new panels. At area (1) in image below, the mouse cursor is moved to the bottom of the chart canvas which is then indicated by the light blue bar. If the indicator being dragged is dropped there, a new panel would be created. If an indicator is dragged and dropped onto an existing panel, NinjaTrader select the most suitable scale for the indicator.

              Indicator Properties

Can I add my 2 bobs worth.

Removing and then re applying an indicator is a pain.
Select an indicator from the list and have another control button that toggles between "Off" and "On".
In this manner you can choose to either toggle it between and on and an off state or remove it altogether.

              Cheers

I was not aware that feature addition was a democracy, but as it seems that it may be, may I too ask for a vote to be added?

Sure and thanks koganam, have added you in as well. It's not necessarily a democratic process, but helps us to keep an overview over demand for these items.

Bertrand - this appears to be a dead url
Do you have a current url with this data?
I would like to save it for future reference
                      Thanks!

Unfortunately this would not be available anymore, it was a features and development status update page we ran for NT7 and through it's beta period. Once a feature set and announcements for our next major platform update are ready, we will approach the community.

OK. I thought maybe you guys were keeping a running list of user suggestions that development was working on
                          Thanks anyway
