backward compatibility of 3rd party indicators?
Just wondering, I'm kind of a newbie and have only had NT a few months, and I hardly know anything about programming. Generally speaking, are 3rd party or custom indicators backward compatible with previous versions of NT? Will the custom indi's that I have now work with NT 7?Tags: None

- Indicators developed in NT7 are not intended to work in prior NT versions (there maybe be exceptions to this)
- In general, indicators developed in 6.5 will work in NT7 but there may be exceptions that require minor tweaks
- The one exception to my last point are any indicators/strategies that have been developed using non-supported/non-documented methods/properties/classes. In these cases, it may not work and you would have to go the source developer for a fix.
We will publish specific information on this prior to our beta launch for NT7.RayNinjaTrader Customer Service
