Edit Indicators Make Window Active

I use shortcut keys to edit an indicator (Alt + O + e + I).
If I want to go to say a Zig Zag indicator I would like to just carry on with the keyboard and press say Z.
For some reason the edit indicator window doesn't seem to be active upon Open?? So I have to mouse click inside the panel and then press Z.

Simple thing to correct but you have no idea how irritating it is ;-)
