I would like to see one more option on the Performance tab. Currently (version 5 and 6) you can report on ones performance by Percent, Points or Currency. I would like to see the addition ofa fourth option for ticks.
The problem with points is that not all markets are sized nor scaled the same. For instance, a 2 point move in the NQ is really only 8 ticks where as a 2 point move in the ER2 is 20 ticks. Therefore, when reporting based on points, the cumulative column is really not correct in the sense of comparing individual trade sizes and overall performance per market. I could have 6 trades in the ER2 and be up 3.6 points (36 ticks) and take one trade in the NQ for 2 points (8 ticks)and NT would show me being up 5.6 points when I am, in fact, up only 42 ticks.
