I'm talking about the DOM background color when you switch from SIM to LIVE. The color gets lighter in LIVE mode. The RGB color for the lighter LIVE mode is 224,223,227.
Thanks for your replies,

That's exactly what I'm talking about Rick--you're saying that the color on your left DOM (live) is 224,223,227?Originally posted by TRS3042 View PostJosh,

If that's what you're saying, can you switch the sim color to this, take a shot in sim mode, and post that? This is what I have posted above -- a LIVE dom and a SIM dom, with the sim dom showing 212,208,200 -- they match.Last edited by JoshDance; 09-28-2011, 12:01 PM.

My original question was........what are the RGB color numbers for the background of NT's DOM in live mode. As far as I know you can't change the background color in LIVE mode, so I didn't know what they were. I like my Chart background color (that butts up against my DOM) to match. Therefore, I took a color sample of the LIVE DOM background color, ran it through a software program that gave me the RGB color numbers.Originally posted by TRS3042 View PostJosh,

I'm all set now.
Thanks again,
Rick

Perhaps your monitor calibration is off, or perhaps mine is. Either way, you can see from the screen shot of my live dom and my sim dom using 212,208,200 that they match perfectly when using this color. As long as you got what you need, it's all good I suppose.Originally posted by TRS3042 View PostMy original question was........what are the RGB color numbers for the background of NT's DOM in live mode.

Five years later and I still can't change the live DOM colors.

I was just kidding. I'm happy with white now.Originally posted by NinjaTrader_Brandon View PostHello cunparis,
Thanks for your reply.
It is being taken into consideration. Not all requests will be implemented. The fixed live color for example is currently designed this way to always know that this color means live as a precaution.
What I'd really like is built-in market profile features, volume profiling, and buttons to go on the chart like with IRT/MD.

I've got a bright idea (no pun intended)... lets switch the colors! Dark color means "Look out, you are live buddy, it's dangerous out there!" and a lighter color means "Cool man, you are good to go and goof around with your sim trader".Originally posted by NinjaTrader_Brandon View PostHello cunparis,
