    V6 not updating dome on ER2

    Ray,

    I have several IB logins. One for each computer/trader. Any ideas why ER2 would not update on one computer yet update on the other?

    When we close V6.0.0.7 and fire up V5 all OK?



    The version on both is NT Ver 6.0.0.7 (Multi-Broker Live)

    Thank you for your post.

    Please verify that you have the exact same setup on both of your computers. Compare yourER2 settings in the Instrument Manager against the working computer's ER2 settings.

    Also,in the Control Center, check your log tab for any errors.

        Both ER2 versions are exactly same in each computer. There are no log errors mentioned. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but still V6 will not update on 2nd Login. Worked fine on Monday but not since?

        Any more ideas

          This problem seems to be confined to the ER2 contract as the NQ contract is updating in sync with the first computer login.

              Hello Shiva:

              That is interesting. Please ensure you are running the most compatible version of IB TWS standalone 866.xx

              In addition, do you have multiple accounts at IB? Ensure you are using the same account on both computers.

              Lastly, check your symbol mapping in the Misc. tab of the Instrument Editor and verify that it matches computer #1.

              Let me know if the problem persists.

                Everything matches. Same TWS, same Mapping.

                A second yellow log appeared with same message.

                NQ updating perfectly on both but ER2 has stopped on one login.

                YM and NQ fine on both logins but Er2 still dead.

                  You have reached a limit on the number of symbols you can receive market data for in TWS.

                  I suggest shutting down everything, restart the NT with the ER2 problem, connect to TWS. Do not have any other windows open for NT except a DOM with ER2 and let us know if you receive market data.

                        You will have to monitor the number of symbols you are using at any given time within TWS to prevent this from happening again in the future.
