Request: Keep string in find field of NinjaScript Output

    Hello,

when I search in the NinjaScript Output with "find" a second time, the find field is empty. I would like the string in the find field to be saved. If I search for something specific and then rerun an indicator or a strategy, I want to be able to search for the same string next time without re-entering it – for example, a date.

Would that be possible to integrate in the next release?

    Kind regards
    Gerik

    Hello Gerik,

    Thank you for the post.

If you close the indicators code that will clear any searches for that file, the file would need to remain open for the search text to be present. I will put in a feature request. You could instead use visual studio which its search is not linked to any specific file and contains a history. You can do that by installing visual studio and then clicking the VS button in the toolbar.

      Hello Jesse,

I am talking about the "NinjaScript Output" of the messages created with "Print", not the NinjaScript Code.

      Thank you
      Gerik
