enabling crosshair with mouse middle button

Hi,
When i press down my mouse wheel (middle button) i can see a pop up information window for the bar where my cursor in near....i would like to have cross hair enabled by the same action please... makes things clearer...

Thanks for the suggestion - you could also hit Ctrl + Q to enable the crosshair, Ctrl + R for back the pointer.

Guess it depends on what you're used to, but I can also see value in your idea - all on one click...
