Extend existing lines with control key

In a graphics program a line can be extended by holding down a control key to ensure it is straight or hold its angle if diagonal. This functionality will help update support or trend lines as the day goes by without having to "think" (ie redraw).

I see. This is not possible at this moment. However, you can start with an "Ray" or an "Extended line" and then you would not have this problem.

Again, it is a suggestion to add functionality that from a programer's perspective might be easy and certainly is a normal (ie done a thousand times) part of most software packages.
