Feature request: indicator/strategies properties/parameters output to xml/json file

Hi Ninjatrader Support,

Feature request:

When testing/use new indicators/strategies and there are always updates, it would be extremely helpful - also it would be helpful in general - if then the parameters of the indicators / strategies could be exported to an xml/json file. The further use can then be done individually. The file should be structured like the parameter window from NT.

NinjaTrader 8 already offers this feature.

Have you tried saving your Indicator/Strategy parameters into a template file?

Bring up the property grid for the Indicator/Strategy and look in the lower right
corner of the window and click on 'template' > 'Save' and specify a template
name for your parameters.

To reload the parameters saved into a template click on 'template' > 'Load' and
select the template name.

A template stores all the parameters into an Xml file, and they are available in
folders accessible here,

Documents\NinjaTrader 8\templates\Indicator\<indicator>\<template>.xml
Documents\NinjaTrader 8\templates\Strategy\<strategy>\<template>.xml

The real purpose of saving your parameters into template files is to reload
them later in one convenient step.
