Chart Trader Faster Order Entry

Hi, please add option tthat allows placing orders with a keyboard + mouse combination on a NinjaTrader chart, without having to use NinjaTrader's right click menu. Thanks

To clarify are you are referring to submitting orders using a hot key where the cursor is positioned within the chart?

Hi Christopher, yes that could work, is that something already in NinjaTrader?
For example Shift + Left mouse click on chart (Creates a buy limit order when below price and Creates a stop buy order when above price).
It would speed up the process of insterting orders with chart trader instead of right clicking and searching orders from menu. Thanks

There are currently order entry hot keys that can be configured under Tools->Hot Keys->Order Entry. If you do enable these option to activate this feature go to Tools->Options->Trading->Enable "Use order entry hot keys" then click Ok.

This is exactly how Volaty Click Trader (3rd party add-on) works.

For a fast trader, right-clicking and then scrolling to find the right command is simply not a good solution.

NinjaTrader would be smart to make it a priority to implement this.
