when you click the download link and go to that page, there will be another link to release notes, I used that one this morning without issues

I am new to NinjaTrader. I assume at some point the new version will auto update.

I am fine with being an early adopter but am wondering if there is a point where there is critical mass and the community at large recommends the upgrade. I have been burnt a few times with Tradestation and Thinkorswim with adopting early

The NinjaTrader platform does not auto-update. This is to ensure that active trades are never interrupted.

In general, we always suggest updating at the earliest convenience, as new versions often include a variety of new features, as well as bug fixes.

Especially with a larger release, e.g. the 8.0.26.0 version, we always wait one or two weeks to ensure that no unforeseen issues occur before we then announce this update through the platform directly via a pop-up message.
