recommendation to introduce quotation marks to search for a series of words

Since the forum has already grown and searching it is not easy, I would recommend to introduce the possibility to use quotation operators to search a series of consecutive characters/words.

Thanks for the suggestion. We're limited on how much customization we can introduce to the vBulletin framework.

Within the forum itself, you can use the Advanced Search to be much more precise with your searches. Click on "Search Tips" on that page to learn more about refining your searches.

Additionally, doing a web search for whatever you're looking for and including "NinjaTrader 8" on the end typically leads to many of the results being from our forums.

The archaic search functionality of vBulletin has been a frustration for years when searching NT forums. The inability to search for "a word string" such as that in quotes is especially time-wasting. Has the NT forum manager put the improvement request to vBulletin? And what did they say?

vBulletin is aware of the limitation. Until there is a change allowing for better search functionality, using the methods I suggested in my first reply would be the best alternative.
