Run Multiple Walk-Forward Optimizations

Right now you can only get 1 result from a walk-forward optimization at a time.

Even if Keep best # results is 10 you only get 1 result. If you set it to Optimization then it works and you get 10 results but I care about Walk-Forward.

It would be nice to have the ability to run multiple walk-forward optimizations simultaneously and split up the results.

Hello JakeOfSpades,

I am able to get more than 1 result when testing the SampleMACrossover with a 7 day test period on ES 06-21 1 Minute.

If you follow the exact steps in video are you experiencing different behavior?


Also, for each optimization period, you can right-click and select View Optimization Results.

From the help guide:
"Note: NinjaTrader does save the "Keep best # results" for each Optimization period, if you want to see each individual optimization results you can right click on the walk forward result and select "Open Optimization Results"."
