feature request: connection through a SOCKS 5 proxy

Please add the ability to connect through a SOCKS 5 proxy. Now in Russia your site is blocked and some people cannot connect and work. Make it easy to connect through a proxy without a third party VPN

Thank you for your feedback. I will forward the feature request to connect through a SOCKS 5 proxy to development. I assume the steps below do not allow you to connect.

NinjaTrader can be set up to utilize your PC proxy settings. Please follow these steps to accomplish this:

• Browse to the below folder or folders depending on your usage:
  • If you use the 32-bit version of NinjaTrader: C:\Program Files or Program Files (x86)\NinjaTrader 8\bin
  • If you use the 64-bit version of NinjaTrader: C:\Program Files (x86)\NinjaTrader 8\bin64
• Open the file ‘NinjaTrader.exe.config’ using Notepad.
• Replace the word “False” with “True”.
• Save the file.
• Restart NinjaTrader.

NinjaTrader is aware that customers in Russia are currently unable to access www.NinjaTrader.com or connect to the NinjaTrader trading platform.

I assume the steps below do not allow you to connect.

Everything is correct, I can't connect directly. I ask you to implement a simple SOCKS 5 proxy connection function.
it is very important that it is SOCKS 5, not SOCKS 4. Only SOCKS 5 has the ability to send DNS requests through a proxy. I ask you to pass this on to the developers.
