September 2020 Trader's Tips

In September the article in "Trader's Tips", we have all software in this sections in "STOCKS & COMMODITIES", but not Ninjatrader, why?

Thanks for your question.

We have elected not to publish our conversions for September 2020 with Stocks and Commodities as it would not have been an ideal out-of-box experience. Reasons being were that the NinjaTrader 7 version would not match NinjaTrader 8 results for how the unique symbols are used, and NinjaTrader 7 would require you to create charts for the required symbols in order to add them to the Instrument database. We also will need a data provider that supports these symbols. Thus far, I have only been able to test mapping for these instruments through Kinetick.

NinjaTrader 8 would load more gracefully, but we would still need a data provider that can offer these non-standard symbols.

I have submitted our conversion so it can be found on our User App Share. Once the Marketing team has processed the submission, they will be on the User App Share.
