Chart trader issue with two data series
I set up a chart with two data series with the primary one being the ES and a hidden one being the MES. I did this with the intention of trading with the chart trader selected to the MES while looking at the ES data but anytime I click another tab within the same window, the "Instrument" in the chart trader will default back to the ES and cause me to sometimes mistakenly trade the ES instead of the MES. One can see what kinds of problems this may cause and I was wondering if this can be remedied?

Hello Rogue_Two,
The ChartTrader will, when the chart is being opened, always use the first instrument in the instrument list. However, this is something we can use to our benefit in this regard.
To ensure the ChartTrader does not use the ES mistakenly, I would suggest creating the chart in reverse. If the MES (albeit transparent) is the first instrument and ES the second, the MES would always appear as the primary instrument in the ChartTrader itself.
Please let me know if I may assist you further!
