REQ: ESC out of axis resizing

in NT8 it is easy with your mouse to accidentally resize the axis. In my case it is the x-axis so chart spacing.

It would be great if you could press ESC to cancel it while you are in this mode,

is there a way to prevent accidentally entering this mode?

The main problem is if I accidentally do it, then I have no idea how to revert it back to the exact setting it was at before so I must close the workspace and re-open it. Which is not something you want to be doing while trading.

also, is there a way to lock the chart from accidental changes?

There is no way to prevent or lock the chart from axis modifications.

• Lock the chart to prevent axis changes - SFT-3513
