Convert NT 7 Indicators and Strategies to NT 8

Why isn't there a section specifically for NT 7 to NT 8 conversions? There are a lot of indicators and strategies which people would like to share but need to have converted to NT 8.
I think Ninjatrader owes it to their clients to have such a section. Thanks.

We converted many popular NinjaTrader 7 indicators and strategies that were hosted on our old forum. These conversions would be found on our User App Share along with the other scripts that were hosted on our old forum.

Thanks but that's not what I meant. I am suggesting that clients should be able to request conversion of their indicators and strategies in a special section on the forum. Yes, I'm familiar with the links you provided. Converting indicators and strategies is ridiculously difficult. Once again, I think NT owes it to its clients to provide this service.

Script development and other programming tasks are often not done for free. We offer NinjaScript Consulting services in our EcoSystem, and those individuals make a living off of their work on NinjaScripts. A consultant would be the resource to utilize to have a conversion done for you if it is too difficult to do on your own, or too difficult with our assistance.

We cannot reasonably convert all NinjaTrader 7 scripts created by other individuals, so we start to hit some limitations on what we can offer. We may approve conversions on a case by case basis, but we could not offer conversion services for all requests as our Scripting Support team does not have the bandwidth to do so.

You are welcome to open a thread in the NinjaTrader 8 Indicator Development or NinjaTrader 8 Strategy Development forums to request a conversion be done by us. You may be lucky enough to have a community member provide the conversion for you, as well. A separate forum would not be necessary for this case.

Please use the existing forums for these requests.
