Option to Keep Current Chart Settings When Switching Time Frame/Bar Type

One annoying feature of NT8 is the auto switch to default data series parameters when switching a chart. For example, lets say I'm looking at a 2000 tick chart which I have configured with colors/settings that I prefer for THIS chart. Then I want to jump to a higher time frame like 30 minutes. If I do this the chart will discard all my settings and load the default preset for minute charts. This is not the way other platforms behave and it would be nice to have an option to simply change the period and leave everything else exactly the same.
