backups deleted when using a third-party uninstaller

I exported several backups

they were in Ninjatrader Backup folder in Documents - I saw them myself there

I uninstalled Ninjatrader 8

I reinstalled NT8

this folder was now empty

I think this defeats the purpose of a backup.

I can't be sure but I'm thinking it might not be NT8 but rather my uninstaller that erased it so please erase this issue thanks

To clarify, I would not expect this to occur if you uninstalled through the Windows Control Center, however, I believe you're correct that a third-party uninstaller could identify that folder for removal.

yes I use a 3rd party uninstaller.. didn't realize that it would remove folders from within the documents folder though, so it was my fault.
