I think it is a bug.
steps to reproduce:

1) Ninjatrader 8
2) apply custom indicator to chart
3) delete custom indicator from list in NinjaScript eidtor window's sidebar
4) go to chart and refresh/try to remove that indi or do anything - several errors will interupt you, then finally system will hang up and be forced to be terminated by windows.

Thank you for your post.

This would be expected as the instance running is held in memory, if you then decide to remove the core file and then change parameters of the indicator it will have no core file to reference.
